Oreana Property receives approval for first WA development
Planning approval has been secured for Oreana Property’s first development in Western Australia – ‘The Village Butler”.
To be located in the suburb of Butler, in Perth’s rapidly growing northern corridor, the development will include a new community retail precinct and a 91-place childcare centre operated by Aspire Early Learning and Education on the 4,453 sqm site.
Located on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Reflection Boulevard, the development will also provide nearby Alkimos and Jindalee with a range of amenities and services. The corner development makes its location prime for retail and services such as a cafe, restaurant, small format supermarket, gyms, allied health and medical centre.
Tony Sass, Oreana Group co-Founder and co-Managing Director, said the team is delighted to embark on their first project in the state.
“We look forward to working with local builders, retailers and service providers to deliver a project which the local community can be proud of,” said Mr Sass.
“This is an important milestone for our business as it reflects the expansion of our portfolio at a national level into strong long-term growth markets such as Western Australia.
“The Village Butler will be a vibrant and convenient hub that plays an integral role in supporting the needs of the growing local community.”
The development will also benefit from a range of new public infrastructure upgrades occurring in the area, such as the $28 million road upgrade from Butler Boulevard to Yanchep, and a direct connection between Butler Boulevard to the Mitchel Freeway, which will be completed next year.
Vend Property’s Joe Bergic has been tasked with leasing The Village Butler, with expressions of interest open.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Oreana Property to exclusively manage leasing for The Village Butler.
“The Village Butler’s strategic corner site positioning will garner terrific exposure for the precinct as around 34,000 cars pass the site daily, while its location within the City of Wanneroo in Perth’s thriving northern corridor will also see it benefit from solid population growth over the next few years.”
