His extensive knowledge across sectors enables Steven to lead large internal and external teams in delivering Oreana’s major development projects spanning residential, commercial, retail, civil infrastructure, and education. Driving results across the business, Steven also leads Oreana’s growth into new markets and strategic direction, continuing to play a key role in the business’ future.
Richard Podkriznik leads Oreana’s extensive construction capability across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. With nearly 20 years’ experience, he oversees the delivery of more than 400 homes annually, over $200 million in residential projects and a pipeline of almost $1 billion in commercial projects. Starting as a carpenter and builder, Richard has amassed deep industry knowledge and leverages his experience in construction and project management to strengthen Oreana’s capabilities for high-volume and high-quality delivery, safety and ambitious growth.
Luke Moore leads Oreana’s investment initiatives, leveraging over 20 years of experience in Funds Management and Financial Services. Luke drives Oreana’s investment capability with a focus on starting and investing in growth opportunities across diverse sectors, with a focus on financial services, real estate, and early education. Previously, Luke held senior roles at prominent institutional and boutique investment firms in Australia and Asia.
Nicholas Corp leads the Commercial Construction team, bringing more than 15 years of experience spanning government, residential, retail, industrial, and fuel projects. Highly skilled in managing the complexities of commercial construction, Nicholas is dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement. He excels at building and nurturing relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners, ensuring every project runs smoothly and successfully. His expertise drives outstanding results across diverse and challenging construction environments.
Kate Aston drives Oreana’s brand and business growth, working across the group to identify opportunities to harness and celebrate its achievements and innovations. With over 14 years’ strategic leadership experience across B2B and B2C sectors, Kate’s expertise spans policy, media relations, education, health, not-for-profit, and automotive, financial services and investments. Kate has a deep-seeded passion for building vibrant, future-focused communities. Kate has a proven track record in developing teams and business units from the ground up, leading sales and marketing for projects ranging from boutique developments to multi-billion dollar masterplanned communities across the nation.
Chris Raywood leads Oreana’s development program, which encompasses medium-density housing, land subdivisions, commercial and mixed-use projects. With over 25 years in property, Chris has developed strategies for both corporate and private developers. Previously, he was Head of Property at KFT Investments, overseeing development and asset programs, and spent nine years at Woolworths Limited, where he led the rollout of stores like Dan Murphy’s and Big W and oversaw the management of more than 3,500 leases. Chris has also held senior roles at ALDI and McDonald’s.
Ben Canagasabey has over 25 years of experience in Global Asset Management and Custody Administration, holding senior roles at top-tier firms. He specialises in product development, operational efficiency, and financial reporting to enhance transparency and compliance. Ben holds a Bachelor of Business, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and is a CPA member.
Dr. Isaac Poole brings extensive experience from high-profile roles in central banking, risk management, and investment consulting to his role driving investment decisions at Oreana. Formerly Chief Economist at NSW Treasury Corporation, he managed debt financing and investments for the NSW Government. Isaac was also Economic Risk Manager at Lloyds Banking Group and Head of Capital Markets Research APAC at Willis Towers Watson, supporting asset allocation and economic analysis. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney, has studied at Oxford and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® holder through the Investment and Wealth Institute™.
Ali Kazemi identifies new growth opportunities for Oreana, finding strategic partners, investment opportunities and new funding sources that can continue to drive the group’s success. With over 10 years’ experience, Ali works across property development, asset management, construction, financial services, funds management and private equity investments. His analytical skills are born of experience in diverse senior roles across real estate and development, corporate finance, and audit and assurance. He also measures the risk and reward profile of loan applications and investment opportunities.
Luke Guthrie drives the financial success of Oreana’s developments division, overseeing growth, capital partnerships, risk management and governance. His 25 years’ experience spans property development, real estate, investment, funds management, and construction, both in Australia and internationally. A former PwC professional and CFO across various sectors, Luke also serves on the board of EACH and EACH Housing, supporting health and housing services. With a Commerce degree and multiple financial qualifications, he is a Chartered Accountant, CPA, and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Adrian Taylor is a seasoned Safety and Environmental professional with 20 years of experience across high-risk industries, including battery energy storage, high-pressure gas, civil and residential construction, and facilities management. He is passionate about building strong relationships and promoting a proactive safety approach. Adrian’s philosophy extends beyond compliance, showcasing how a positive safety culture enhances every aspect of business. By blending expertise, practical strategies, and a people-focused mindset, he empowers teams to adopt safety practices that deliver exceptional results.
Jacob Rumball leads the expansion of Oreana’s private credit business across Australia and Asia Pacific. With over 10 years of experience in asset management, including fixed income, private credit, and alternative assets, Jacob structures optimal credit investment opportunities for Oreana clients and partners. Previously, he was a Director at ADM Capital, managing private credit investments across APAC, focusing on Australia, India, and SE Asia. Jacob sits on several APAC boards and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Economics from Queen’s University and is licensed by the Hong Kong SFC.
Jonathan Christie oversees the operations and growth of Oreana’s financial services businesses in Australia. With 16 years in banking and wealth management across the UK and Australia, he brings expertise in private banking, investment, superannuation, and financial planning. Previously, Jonathan was General Manager of Wealth Services at NAB Private, overseeing wealth advice, markets, FX, and trustee services for complex clients. He has chaired Calibre Asset Management, the NAB Private Investment Committee, and previously served on the National Australia Trustee Board.
Greg Smith leads Oreana’s strategic financial initiatives across Asia Pacific, specialising in estate planning, tax-efficient investing, and generational wealth transfer. With over a decade of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families, Greg founded the Taylor Brunswick Group, growing it into a leading wealth management firm managing over USD $400 million in AUM across Hong Kong, Japan, and Australia. Greg also serves as Non-Executive Director at Harbour Wills & Estate Planning, providing guidance on cross-border estate planning, inheritance tax structuring, and will drafting.
Daniel Huxley leads Oreana’s tailored wholesale investment strategies for sophisticated and family office investors across APAC. With over 25 years in financial services, he has deep expertise in investment markets, asset selection, and distribution strategy. Previously, Daniel held senior roles at Ausbil Investment Management and BT Financial Group, expanding client assets and strengthening relationships with high-net-worth and institutional clients. He holds a Master of Business with Merit from Newcastle University and a Diploma of Financial Markets from FINSIA.
Emmett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Finance major from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. Before joining Oreana as a graduate, he gained valuable experience at Tandem Investment Advisors, a portfolio management firm in Charleston, South Carolina.
Sven leads Oreana’s finance functions, including accounting, treasury, and tax, while playing a key role in strategic planning and capital management. With over 17 years of experience across sectors such as financial services, property development, and local government, Sven was previously an audit manager overseeing engagements for corporate and government entities. He has extensive experience in financial reporting, forecasting, internal controls, and process improvement. Sven holds a Bachelor of International Business, a Masters in Business (Accountancy), and is a Chartered Accountant.
Flavio brings over a decade of international experience, having worked in private companies across Europe and at a top-tier professional services firm in Europe and Australia. With strong commercial acumen, he identifies strategic opportunities and provides clear financial analysis. Flavio holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and is a Swiss Certified Accountant.
