Nationally integrated developer-builder Oreana is moving forward with the construction of its fourth Melbourne shopping centre in as many months, with work to start on Tarneit’s Bluestone Hub in May.
The $41 million Bluestone Hub shopping centre will include 4200 square metres of lettable space on Gaits Drive in Tarneit and be completed in mid to late 2026.
The town centre will feature approximately 23 shops, including a supermarket, food and beverage, gym, medical centre and chemist; offering a diverse range of retail and services.
Already secured for the precinct are Yes Yes Grocery, Ray White, a café, barber, laundromat and Aspire Early Education. Colliers is overseeing the leasing campaign for the centre.
Oreana Managing Director Tony Sass said Bluestone Hub would be a true one-stop destination for locals living in the surrounding Bluestone and Harlow communities.

A standout feature of Bluestone Hub is its seamless pedestrian walkway, connecting the scenic waterways to the west with the parklands and historic homestead to the east. This vibrant link will host three versatile community spaces, ideal for alfresco dining, retail, medical services, or a state-of-the-art gym.
Highly active in Melbourne’s greenfield space, Oreana also has the following neighbourhood shopping centres under construction:
- Botanical Village, Mickleham, a $75 million centre spanning 7415 square metres
- Farm Gate Local, Clyde, an $18.5 million hub spanning 2140 square metres
- Linfield Place, Wollert, a $45 million centre spanning 3500 square metres
Mr Sass said Oreana was focused on maintaining a diversified pipeline across early education, retail, medium density housing and land development and continuing to drive its integration as a developer and builder.
